Peter Walters has been with Guardian Industries since 1985. Guardian is a diversified global manufacturing company headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, with leading positions in float glass, fabricated glass products, fiberglass insulation and other building materials for commercial, residential and automotive markets. 

Prior to his employment at Guardian, Walters served for several years in state government.   He received a master's degree in labor and industrial relations from Michigan State University and a bachelor's degree from Emory and Henry College in Virginia.
