Todd Wyett is the co-founder and CEO of Versa Development, LLC and its predecessor company, Touchstone Corp., a real estate development, land entitlement, and property management company. Wyett has developed industrial, commercial, and multi-family residential properties in the State of Michigan valued in excess of $200 million. Wyett also is the co-founder and CEO of NextGen Energy, LLC, an ethanol company currently developing two 55 million gallon per year ethanol plants in McBain and Watervliet, Michigan, as well as two experimental hybrid plants and an ethanol R&D center in Brooklyn, Michigan.
Wyett, who formerly served as Chairman of the Michigan State Waterways Commission, was recently appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Executive Committee of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). He chaired the Lyon Township (Oakland County) Downtown Development Authority (DDA) from 1999-2005, and was appointed to the Oakland County Business Roundtable by County Executive L. Brooks Patterson in 2000 and 2001. He has served as a member of the Oakland County Sheriff’s Advisory Council since 2001.
Wyett received his law degree from The Georgetown University Law Center and went on to serve as Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary of Arbor Drugs, Inc., a 200+ unit public drugstore chain.
Wyett resides in both Bloomfield and Charlevoix, Michigan.
