FY 2010 GENERAL GUIDELINES
The Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA) coordinates grants to arts and culture organizations, cities and municipalities, and other nonprofit organizations to encourage, develop and facilitate an enriched environment of artistic, creative and cultural activity in Michigan. These guidelines outline the basic requirements and processes, including legislative boilerplate, related to all MCACA programs.
GRANTS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
Annually, MCACA awards matching grants to non-profit organizations throughout the state. Below you will find information on different grants that are currently available.
Operational and Project Support Grant Program
Grant application deadline: February 24, 2010
MCACA announces its newest grant program for FY 2010. The Program for Operational and Project Support will offer an opportunity for non-profit or other tax exempt organizations to apply for a competitive grant in either of the two identified categories--Operational Support or Project Support. Each category has specific eligibility requirements and review criteria. Guidelines are available below and on our Online Forms Web page. The deadline for application is February 24, 2010. FY 2010 Mini-Grant Program
Grant application deadline: February 24, 2010
MCACA announces that funding has been approved to 19 Regional Regranting Agencies for the FY 2010 Mini-Grant Program. On behalf of the Council, these agencies offer grants of up to $4,000 to nonprofit organizations, municipalities and schools to support a wide variety of arts and cultural programs. Applications are due to the Regional Regranting Agencies by February 24, 2010. A listing of the Regranting Agencies and the counties they serve is available below and on our Online Forms Web page.
